Open House for Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts
The Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts will be holding an open house this Saturday from 1 to 7pm at the George Merrick Scout House.
With the start of schools, scouting programs are beginning a new season with lots of wonderful events and programs for kids. The open house will feature games, food and drinks and lots of fun activities. Everyone is welcome.
The house is located at 1107 South Greenway Drive. For more information about the legacy George Merrick scouting programs in Coral Gables, call 305-443-7973 during business hours.

(except for gays and atheists) yay scouting!
gays and atheists -- among all others -- are welcome as long as they do not use the organization as a platform to proselytize their views. To assume that everyone in scouts is a bigot is as bad as assuming gays are child molesters.
