1909 Café Open!
Damn, you blink for a second and you miss the opening of yet another restaurant.
I'd been trying to stay informed about the 1909 Café opening in the Gables, and since my last attempt to get info didn't go down so well, I'd kinda put it on the back burner.
But on a visit a few days ago to the original location, I asked again and behold! They told me it was open, and had been for about a month.
I love this restaurant and have regularly eaten at the original location (Bird Rd. and 57 Ave.) for about 8 or 9 years. I have high hopes for this new location (70 Aragon).
When you visit, have the Bayou Chicken. It rocks.
