Update on the Gables Location of 1909 Café

Last year, I told you all that 1909 Café was opening a location in the Gables. They're scheduled to open at 70 Aragon; and last year, the projected opening was in the fall.

Obviously, it didn't happen.

I was in 1909 Café last week and asked the guy in charge (not sure if he's the owner, he was just the guy ordering everyone around and appeasing the customers) if the Gables location had opened. He very tacitly said, "No" and that was it. When I asked, "any projected date?" he gave me a look and just said, "No". The expression on his face told me to drop the matter.

Have no clue what the H is going on or when it will open. But considering how fabulous their sandwiches are, I do hope they still open in the Gables.
